Three consequences that come to mind learning about the
international early childhood field for my professional and personal
development are as follows:
·
Having awareness of others in the international
ECE field
·
Ways to help financially, physically, and
mentally with international ECE professionals
·
Feeling of appreciation of what we have here in the
US and how we still have leaps and bounds to ensure that our children have the
ability to continue with the best education
A goal that I would want to set for my international
awareness of issues and trends would be that we always remember each
other. Lend that helping hand and do not
turn the cheek to each other. Giving
each other ideas and willing to listen to others when they are being challenged
by the early childhood field.
I am so inspired by our international contact. I have really learned some important from my early childhood international contacts.
ReplyDeleteCrissy,I agree. I believe in building, connecting with those in our field with where they are at and influencing them. Ask them, how can I help you? Sometimes what I think of as help, may not be what they truly are in need of. Your post is a positive step in building these early childhood professional meaningful relationships.
ReplyDeleteChrissy,
ReplyDeleteBuilding connections and partnerships with other professionals are so valuable in this field. I also wasn't aware of international professionals until I explored websites and learned about different organizations. It helps me "broaden my horizons". I appreciated your post.
